WE ARE
Soil, plants, air, fungi and animals – all function together in perfect ecosystems that allow us all to live on this planet. It’s not concrete, electricity, or manicured lawns that keep us alive, but natural processes that let us breathe and survive. That’s why the We Give a F project cares deeply about how nature is treated, with its main goal rooted in protecting the environment and animals – guided by respect for nature and scientific understanding.
We are a team of dedicated people from diverse professional backgrounds, united by one simple fact – We Give a F.

Jolana Haismanová
Jolana is the founder and statutory representative of We Give A F. She studied Media Communication and has been actively involved in animal protection for over 5 years. She contributed to the communication strategy of several successful nationwide and European initiatives aimed at improving animal protection, which resonated throughout society, earning her the Czech Social Awards two years in a row.
Through her numerous encounters with wild animals, many years of work in animal protection, and her journey to Amazon, she has come to see protecting nature and the environment as one of her life’s core purposes.

Marek Malis
Marek is a photographer, filmmaker, and art director of We Give A F. In his work, he combines art, adventure, and a deep connection to nature. He studied Photography at the Art and Design Institute in Prague and during his studies, he gained experience in the USA. He won second place in the Czech Press Photo competition in the Art and Culture category and also received the Young Lions Award.
He spent some time living in Bolivia and often returned to South America, which became his second home. It was there that his passion for documentary film was born along with a strong bond to the local nature, culture, and people.

Lucie Kittlová
Lucie is the behind-the-scenes technical genius of the project. She studied Biology and protection of hobby species at the University of South Bohemia and contributes to both national and European animal protection campaigns.
Instead of heading into a lab after graduation, she set off into the world. She volunteered in the rainforests of Sumatra, helped rescue animals in shelters, and spent several years living off the grid surrounded by horses and nature. These experiences shaped her understanding that saving individual species means little unless we also protect entire ecosystems.

Karolína Zapotilová
Karolína provides legal expertise to We Give a F. She holds a degree in Law from the University of West Bohemia and led a major legislative campaign to strengthen animal rights in the Czech Republic, where she heads the advocacy team. She is currently pursuing a rigorous postgraduate degree at Charles University, specializing in environmental law.
Her interest in sustainability was sparked by her love of cooking—especially plant-based cuisine—which became both a passion and a path to a deeper understanding of environmental impact. She believes that our daily choices, such as what we eat, have a profound effect on the planet. This personal awareness naturally carries over into her legal work, where she strives to connect law, ethics, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Kristýna Cábová
Kristýna is responsible for communication with donors and engagement with public figures. She studied Geography, Biology, and Environmental Education for Teaching at the Faculty of Science and works on national campaigns focused on animal rights and implementing sustainable food systems in school canteens.
Raised in nature and surrounded by animals since childhood, she quickly realized early on that their inner worlds are far richer than we often assume. She chose to dedicate herself to understanding and protecting them

Terezie Čapková
Terezie takes care of social media communication. She enjoys finding ways to present complex topics in a simple, relatable manner that speaks both to the heart and scrolling thumbs. She studied Social Work, but her heart was always drawn to protecting those who cannot speak for themselves - animals. Today, she is dedicated to work that truly matters to her: helping the most vulnerable and contributing to the protection of nature.
She believes that animals and nature deserve our respect, care and humility. Her wish is for future generations to experience the beauty and power of the wild nature that we still have a chance to protect today. But action is needed - and that is why she has chosen to devote her life to it.

Dominika Hlavínová
Dominika
is responsible for communication, community growth on social media, and visual content creation. She has experience in community management and content creation for non-profit organisation focused on animal protection and sustainability.
From a young age, she has had a deep connection with animals and nature, which she sees as a source of peace, inspiration, and strength.
She believes that change starts with each of us – in the everyday choices we make that can protect the environment and all who live in it. Through her work, she aims to inspire people to act with respect and compassion – not only toward animals but also toward the world we share.
